On 22 November 2008, our dear Freda crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join our lovely Echo and some of her blogging friends. We will be adding photos and videos Freda was not able to finish editing before her passing. We were honored to have followed in Freda's paw prints. We certainly did not lead the way. She made many new friends who became our friends. We thank all pups and peeps for their wonderful barks and tributes. We are in her debt. Freda will be terribly missed but never forgotten.

Hey Ivy,
My humans say there are conventions for almost everything. (A convention is where a whole bunch of humans get together, eat, drink, do other things and talk about their common interests, whatever they are.)
We know there are things called dog shows where dogs and their humans get together and run around and stuff. There are conventions where humans look at cars, boats, watch other humans carry fish around in bags. So why isn't there a place where we bloggin' dogs and our humans can meet and talk and bark?.
Dad says that someone with lots of monies and Greenies will have to put somethin' like that together. And we would have to have lots of those monies, too, if we wanted to go.
Wait! Isn't this what humans call a dog park!?
Woof!
Freda
Convention? Guinness? I'll come along too!
Cal
Hey Cal,
Dad picked up some Murphy's Stout today. I don't know about a convention but a party sounds good! Your yard or mine?
Woof!
Freda

i dont think my peepol haf enuf monies to haf a convention, but i have dog parties with abby and sandy all the time. it is great for a whyle, but then i get tired and those dogs never know wen it is time to go home. hmpff!
Hey Ivy,
My secretary checked out the Legend site. Thanks. He would like to try the Choco Porter and maybe the Brown Ale, if it is dark enough. Except for some Scottish ales and Moretti's La Rossa http://www.birramoretti.it/ he likes to drink 'beers' you can't see through. The rest look like pee mail samples he says. So he sticks with http://www.beerpal.com/Mackeson-XXX-Stout-Beer/5214/ and an occasional http://www.murphysbeers.com/

My humans had a human party a looong time ago and humans stayed and stayed. Guess they had a good time. Dad says he just locked the door! Arf! Arf! Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, one of their friends got as far as the first stop sign and fell asleep. Dad found him at the end to the block the next mornin'!
Times have changes, at least for my humans. Dad has always said that he doesn't want to be lost 'in the haze' just in case something good happens and he wouldn't remember what or whom. Not good.
Woof!
Freda
