This weekend there are two excitin' goings on in our area, but Mom is in Chico with the movin' box so Dad and I are home 'alone'. Stranded. On the fringe. Excluded. Hmph!!
The first is the Rio Vista Bass Festival, just one two, one two (My cartographer says three) miles down the road. It starts today. The second is the Travis Air Expo 2005, one two, one two ( The cart guy, again, says 20) miles up the road. That begins in one two, one two (1) day. Mom will be back in one two, one two (1 1/2) days. So in one two, one two (2) days she and Dad get to go to a big white tent and eat really good food and drink all kinds of grape water. THEY BETTER COME HOME WITH A REALLY BIG DOGGIE BAG. Wonder what that grape water tastes like? They will also get to see, AND SMELL, the big fishies caught by humans in boats.
I am not allowed at the big old (classic) moving box (car) show because I MIGHT pee on a classic rubber thing and I'm not allowed in the vendors' area because food is served there. Hey, when you gotta pee you gotta pee and what's wrong with food. I like food. I think those EU dogs have it better than we do in many cases. As for the big bird show, I might get to see some of them if they make wide turns and fly over my house.
Last week my humans were pretty busy. Besides runnin' to my every beckon and call, Mom was in St. Louis workin' for a while, Dad had a hot stone massage (Mom got one this week) and they went to the AMEX World Championship golf tournament. They got to see all those people we see on the magic box. On the way home Mom and Dad were drivin' over a big orange bridge and saw four blue and yellow big birds. They were very fast and loud. Mom said they were in San Francisco for Fleet Week.
So now we are home alone. I, catchin' up on my dreams and Dad makin' like an art type human. ARF! ARF! (Ha, ha!) Well, we will listen to more old time radio CDs and enjoy our time together. Let me bark you. I can tell my cartographer is bored. He is listenin' to ♫ Indian Radio Stations Online ♫ Bollywood, Hindi, Desi Music Online Radio Channels while he is typin' this for me. It reminds him of the Bollywood movie adverts he would see when at the cinema in Kano, Nigeria. Long ago when his family lived there. He says that is an entirely different blog someday. Actually, the music isn't that bad. Dad says I should listen and appreciate other cultures. I like yogurt. Does that count? And the Beatles are British. So there!
Dad, aren't you hungry yet? And I've got to visit my blog friends later. Come!

freda,
Thank you for visiting Boogie's blog!
Your humans sure are busy, but that ain't no excuse for leaving us out right? Woof! Woof!
Try this. Sit in front of them and look in their eyes and in no time your human will come hug and play with you. Look harder then nudge your head into them and you'll even get a treat!
Take care!
freda
