My human has only one twos, one twos (twos) legs, doesn't think like us and he has been called weirds. I like that in a familys man. He is stubborns like me. He likes his beer dark. He could be called an Eclectic Peeps. Most of all, he loves me and I like that. DeltaBunny will journal our lives togethers in the small Delta town of Rio Vista, California.

BANK ROBBERY!/BIONIC EYE/GUIDE DOGS AND PONIES

Yesterday, Mom just missed an apparent bank robbery! When she arrived at the bank she noticed several police officers looking in the alley and around the outside of our bank. We later heard that it had been robbed. Several small credit unions in the area had been hit recently, so I guess it was our turn. It must have been a very small heist, because it didn't even make the paper today. Supposedly it was the first time this bank has been robbed. I think they need a guard dog.

Great news for blind humans and guide dogs. The development of a 'bionic eye' shows great promise. See
BBC NEWS | Bionic eye will let the blind see for more information. I don't think this will put any guide dogs out of work, unfortunately, but among many great things, it will allow the dog owners to 'see' their wonderful buddies and see how beautiful they really are. They all ready know how big a heart their guide dogs have. Here are only two of the wonderful organizations that our buddies work for with: GUIDE DOGS OF AMERICA: Seeing eye dogs for the blind and Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind Inc.

And there are those ponies that want to help, too. Read more at Lifestyle - A Guide Pony
and Guide Horse Foundation - Miniature horses for the blind.

If you think about it, our humans need us more than they realize. Unfortunately, the circumstances are sometimes not the best, but we do our best and give them all our love.

Hooray for all the guide dogs and ponies and those who channel their great talents!

I had no idea there are Guide Horses!!! That is the coolest thing yet. I was close to a horse once, his name was Apache. He stomped and snorted and reared up - I think he was guiding me the heck out of his yard!

Those ponies are great I bet, bet they have better memories than most humans . . .

I saw horses playing in a field once. I barked and play bowed and waved at them for all I was worth, but they wouldn't play with me.

Mom says I would be a terrible guide, unless my job would be to bump into everyone all the time. I guess that is a real talent I have.
