My human has only one twos, one twos (twos) legs, doesn't think like us and he has been called weirds. I like that in a familys man. He is stubborns like me. He likes his beer dark. He could be called an Eclectic Peeps. Most of all, he loves me and I like that. DeltaBunny will journal our lives togethers in the small Delta town of Rio Vista, California.

WILD WEEK/WEIRD BEARD/WEIRD WEATHER

The past week has been a blur to me. Twice I accompanied my humans to Sac (Not SAC, Strategic Air Command, Omaha) International Airport. Mom flew down to Orange County for a presentation to about 90 of their teachers. Thursday night Dad went down to Oakland and listened to WEIRD BEARD play again at the STORK CLUB. Then Tule and her humans came up for the weekend. Tule really likes my toys. Here she has fallen asleep near my toy basket.

Mine, all mine. Posted by Hello

She really likes to make them squeak.

Then the big news. In the middle of last week the temperature finally broke 50 for the first time in over five weeks. YEA! Yesterday was nice and sunny. Today was sunny after the very dense fog burned off. A typical winter day. Hopefully we are getting back to a "typical" winter's day. Many scientists claim that humans are contributing to this thing called global warming. I didn't know if that was true or not, until my human read the following articles to me and now I think the scientists are correct.
BBC NEWS |US urged to help slow Arctic thaw
BBC NEWS | Climate crisis near 'in 10 years'
BBC NEWS | Arctic rivers 'flowing faster'
BBC NEWS | Arctic ozone may drop to new low
He sure likes the Beeb, doesn't he.

Some weird guy in that big house in Washington says there is no global warming, but he doesn't even read, or so I'm told. I guess he knows everything and doesn't need to read or learn anything else. If he is right (My typist says one can't much more to the right), huh?, then why all the large storms? I heard about the hurricanes, blizzards and rains that have occurred during the past several months. Why is the Arctic melting? Sounds strange to me, but I don't read either. Just one of those things that is best not thought about. Don't think about it, don't read about and it will all go away. Right, you weird guy in the big house?

Hi Freda!
Don't get me started about that guy in the big white house not being able to read. When his face comes on the TV, my faith in the human race goes down another 10 notches. Luckily I have my extremely intelligent and caring family like yours (the kind of humans who voted for the other guy last November.)

Tule looks like she was obsessed with your toys. But that's ok if it's only for a couple of days.

I let my human read your blog entry and he got all up on his soapbox and told me: "Cal, the global warming thing - the damage being done now by the relaxing of emissions standards and the reluctance to be held accountable by anyone in the world - that's gonna be felt mostly by the next generation of humans. And all the stupid people that are allowing it to happen today will be dead and gone."

If he's right, hopefully they won't be replaced by more stupid people.
