My human has only one twos, one twos (twos) legs, doesn't think like us and he has been called weirds. I like that in a familys man. He is stubborns like me. He likes his beer dark. He could be called an Eclectic Peeps. Most of all, he loves me and I like that. DeltaBunny will journal our lives togethers in the small Delta town of Rio Vista, California.

HEERRE'S FREDA!/HUMAN'S TRIP

The family is all back together, finally. Boy am I glad to see my people!! My stay at the kennel was uneventful. I could not get my kennel door unlatched so I was unable to post anything while I was incarcerated. My humans had a great time on the beach in Virginia. Saw a bunch of the family. They visited Jamestown and Yorktown to soak up some early history. They also were treated to a tour of the Norfolk Naval Yards. Among other things, they saw the battleship USS Wisconsin (BB 64) and the USS Cole. On the return flight, the humans got to experience the feeling when the pilot announces that there is not enough fuel for the aircraft on the ground. Apparently the jet fuel in Norfolk was somehow contaminated. A great terrorist ploy if there ever was one. A little hit and run. So the pilot said they were going to fly to Nashville, refuel and then continue the flight to Dallas. Then they found some fuel in a tanker truck. They added some fuel. A storm moving west caused controllers to reroute the plane south around the storm. This added 300 miles to the flight. Now the plane did not have enough fuel for the new flight plan. In the mean time, fuel was arriving from Richmond, VA. The human's plane received more fuel, but now the pilot wanted to reissue the original flight plan. After two hours on the tarmac, the plane finally left the ground for Dallas. Now the humans would miss their connecting flight to Sacramento. Luckily the afore mentioned storm delayed everything into and out of Dallas so my humans made it home only one hour late. Whew! I knew there was a reason dogs weren't meant to fly. Tule and her humans will be here any time for Thanksgiving. Will see you again soon. Woof! They're here!

Wow, what a story of history, mystery, and mayhem - your humans must be exhausted from travelling. Glad you weren't in the belly of that plane - I hear it is horrifying to be stuck in there and it gives dogs nightmares for months too.

Sorry to hear you haven't seen any meeses. Meese and squirrels are the favorite animals up here (besides humans). Too bad my human had to come after me, I think that meese smell just fine. But they are a little spooky and stand in the middle of the road for a long time. If you think humans can be stubborn, geeez . . .

I bet you would love the snow, even if your humans don't. Maybe when they make blogs in 3D with smell and touch, I'll post some to you.
