We were hopin' that the Shuttle would lift-offs but it was just scrubbed. Mom and Dad thought of goin' but things didn't work out here. Now, Mom's bro, who was involved in the Shuttle stuffs, is now VP and GM for satellites. He just flew down to Europe's Spaceport at Kourou, French Guiana, (Arianespace) to watch the launch of one two one two (one) of his company's birds (AMC-18).
We are gonna watch it go up and up on Arianespace - VideoCorner tomorrow dark. Here is the Launch window:
GMT: Between 10:08 pm and 10:51 pm on December 8, 2006.
PARIS: Between 11:08 pm and 11:51 pm on December 8, 2006.
WASHINGTON: Between 05:08 pm and 05:51 pm on December 8, 2006.
KOUROU: Between 07:08 pm and 07:51 pm on December 8, 2006.
(Coverage starting 20 minutes before lift-off).

Maybe that shuttle was dirty? Thats why they wanted to scrub it? You cant send it into space all covered in mud now can you:-)

A humans friend of my dad's (Didn't know he had any friends) wrote that he used to gos to the launches and he said it WAS noiseys and cinders or somethin' was fallin' on him after the lift-off. Cooools!

I still don't know how those cards get all overs the world. I thought only Santa went everywheres and that's only once (Whew) a years.
We had LOTS of fogs today. I almost lost Dads. Luckily he was hangin' on my lead.
