My human has only one twos, one twos (twos) legs, doesn't think like us and he has been called weirds. I like that in a familys man. He is stubborns like me. He likes his beer dark. He could be called an Eclectic Peeps. Most of all, he loves me and I like that. DeltaBunny will journal our lives togethers in the small Delta town of Rio Vista, California.

WHAT WE DID ON THE FOURTH/UP AND A WAY!! WOOF!

We spent the Fourth of July watchin' great fireworks. The Shuttle Discovery on NASA TV. Reeeeally coooool! There were all kinds of neato things goin' on.

Is that bird poop?

I think I see bird poop.

Are you guys gonna get the poop?

Don't forget the bird poop!

Did anyone get the poop?

I hope someone got the bird po...
WOW! That's cooool! Dog speed, Discovery.

After Discovery got pushed up into the sky, Dad heard that David McCullough was gonna be discussin' his book 1776 on NPR's Talk of the Nation program. Dad wanted to ask him about the signin' of the Declaration of Independence and stuff and settle things once and for all. (Remember how my secretary was ravin' about the Fourth the other day?) So he sent in his email and WOW!, they read it on the program. If you want to hear the interview, Dad's questions and Mr. McCullough's answers and learn the reason we celebrate on the Fourth of July go to NPR : David McCullough Revisits '1776'. Scroll to about 12:30 on the time slide.

That was sooooooo cooooool! Ruff! Ruff! Thank you Mr. Neal Conan for readin' the email and Mr. McCullough for helpin' Dad out. He kinda understands now. Whew! (Hope he remembers!!)

Dad now thinks he reeeeeeally somethin'. HA! He's still pickin' up my poop! I wonder if they got that bird poop? What? Ooohh....

My Mom thinks Neal Conan and Talk of the Nation are the greatest! That's so cool that he answered your dad's question.

Hey Charlie,

Neal Conan (the Barabrian?) has such great topics on his program. Yes, it was nice havin' Dad's questions answered but now he has such a BIG head it is causin' problems. His head is like a big sail and when I take him for a walk it is bein' whipped all over the place by the fast air around here. Arf! Arf!

Woof!

Hey Freda!

Since you have so many online friends, would you mind linking to the foster dogs blog that my mom started? We are hoping that this will get more attention for dogs looking for their forever homes!

Thanks!
