It was 42 years ago today, we got to see Sgt. Pepper play... Dad says it's hard to believe.
The followin' story kinda upset me:BBC: Rare Beatles lyrics fail to sell. Who wouldn't want such a piece of history and there are greedy humans out there.
So when my secretary read me the next story I really got excited. BBC: Lennon original lyrics for sale. I'm offerin' one box of Greenies as my first bid.
Hope my rawhide chips get here soon. That might just put me over the top...

Now as far as the lyric sheets, I would say the bid starting at 2m is something else.
think of it - John Lennon wrote that. And that song is such a landmark in both writing and production. Thank you Beatles and George Martin!
