Humans aren’t very smart when it comes to some subjects, that is sure. As the writer said, wolf attacks are extremely rare. There are more fatalities from bear attacks too. But wolves are the stuff of legend and that bad rap they got all those years ago doesn’t seem to let go. What’s really interesting is that wolves and dogs are so close genetically that they can breed and produce offspring and yet, they are so different in attitude. I say, leave the wild animals alone!

My humans agree with you and I agree with what you say to a point. Bein' part terrier, I like to chase voles, Others of us like to chase meeses, squirrels and rabbits. So some of us just can't leave the wild critters alone. But I know what you mean, humans should leave them alone! We share the earth.

Hey Freda,
That's a really useful link and just goes to highlight the part of human nature that forgets about logic when faced with something a little shocking. Some good stats never go amiss though, especially when it puts things in to perspective.
