My human has only one twos, one twos (twos) legs, doesn't think like us and he has been called weirds. I like that in a familys man. He is stubborns like me. He likes his beer dark. He could be called an Eclectic Peeps. Most of all, he loves me and I like that. DeltaBunny will journal our lives togethers in the small Delta town of Rio Vista, California.

WHAT WAS THAT?/SHERWOOD FOREST/BOSWELL TO WHOM?/NOT BIDWELL

Mom's gone to Chico again. Maybe I can go some day. I want to see where they filmed part of The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938): "All the Sherwood Forest scenes were filmed in magnificent Bidwell Park, located in Chico, California. Big Chico Creek is where Robin first meets Little John & Tuck. Local University kids loiter there now; legends walked there once.."

On our afternoon walk to Watson Hollow I discovered an interesting pile of dirt. Something had been burrowing under the grass. I scoped it out for a while, but nothing popped up.

Who's been diggin'? Posted by Hello

Then I thought I heard something in the grass.

I know it's in there! Posted by Hello

Again, I waited but nothing. I did catch some rays, but I cautioned my 'Boswell'*(?) not to take his shirt off due to his Pepto-Bismol complexion. He might scare the wildlife. ARF, ARF!

Goat in sheep's clothing? Posted by Hello

I think Tule was on to something. I think I saw a goat in sheep's clothing today. Either that goat wants to be sheared or doesn't want to make any more cheese. Hard to say.

(?) Questions. Am I his or is he my Boswell? Are we all each others Boswell?
James Boswell: "James Boswell (1740-1795)

Scottish lawyer, essayist, known for his two-volume biography THE LIFE OF SAMUEL JOHNSON, LL.D (1791), published seven years after the death of its subject. Boswell met Samuel Johnson in May 1763 in Davies's London bookshop and the two became fast friends. He recorded in detail Johnson's words and activities in a relatively short period. Later the historian Thomas Macaulay (1800-1859) called Boswell's worship of Dr. Johnson 'Lues Boswelliana, or disease of admiration.'

'We cannot tell the precise moment when a friendship is formed. As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindness there is at last one which makes the heart run over.' (from Life of Johnson)"
