HAPPY MAY DAY/MAY BASKETS?

May Day (Wikipedia) means many things to many people. Keeping bad fairies away, celebrating the coming of Summer to the achievements of various labor movements. Other types of celebrations can be found at A Little Bit About May Day and History of May Day.

Please bear with me.

A disappearing tradition is the making and giving of May baskets. My alpha male's mother was making May baskets this weekend. I wondered what is a May basket? A history of the May basket can be read at Celebrate May Day With A May Basket.

The reason I bring all this up is I think that any canine would really appreciate a May basket filled with all kind of treats on May Day. So next year, every dog out there should begin dropping subtle hints to your humans a week or two before the first of May. Remember, any time there is a legit reason we can get more treats out of them, the better.
