Today began as a day like many days the past six weeks. Here I sit guarding my female human as she readies herself for another training day in the nearby town of Lodi. She has been very busy, too busy, training teachers throughout the state how to implement a writing program for students in various school districts. Next month will less frantic with fewer training days. Yea!
Guarding the Missus and hoping she won't leave.
After each walk my “alpha” (So he thinks, ha, ha.) wipes my feet so I won't track any dirt into the house and onto our light carpet. He also gives me a great rubdown with the towel. It feels sooo good.
After watching the dog shows of the past several weeks I thought I might be able to enter as an Afghan. What do you think? I think a brown towel would work better.
Afghan hound? Or just hound?
Maybe I could use this costume for Halloween.
Tonight my humans will going to the City Council meeting to hear about the new development to be built near by. They said there will be no doggy bag, but I know they will make up a doggy bag for me when they get home. Yumm! Hurry, come the night, she said.

I like that costume! I don't think anyone would recognize you.
I like the idea of bunnies on the agility course. It wouldn't bother me too much (although a squirrel or a sandwich might), but it sure would draw off those Border Collies and Shelties.....then guess what? The LAB would have the fastest time!
Please let your Dad know that there's lots of older dogs and people in agility, and not to let age stop you from giving it a try if you really want to.
