Hot As Sun
'Woke up, fell out of bed, Dragged my tongue across my head.
Found my way to my water bowl, Looked around and drank a cup....'
'We take a walk, the sun is shining down
Burns my feet as they touch the ground'
Dad....Shhh...Another of those Apple Bonkers.
Are we in Pepperland? Let's Get Back!!
'After a while you start to smile now you feel cool...'
'Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullabye'
Dad awoke me at some cat hour and said it was time to go. Go where? Go why? He said it was gonna be reeeeally hot today and we had to get started on our walk before the sun broke the horizon. What? Gotta go, 'Here Comes the Sun"!
Thanks and apologies to the Fab Four.

Good day sunshine
Good day sunshine
Good day sunshine to you!
It is winter here, what is good for a husky living in the tropics (actually it would be more correct to say "subtropic" - here in the south of Brazil we get subtrocal weather)
Raisa
wowie freda! it sure wuz hot there. i dont like it when the ground bites my feets. most days i like to stay in the shade of the skwerrel tree and watch for intruders.
you are lucky to have a good dad to take you for walks in the early cat hours.

You have such a cool dog-walker ... we love the pictures here.

Hey Raisa,
Here comes the sun...
You live a little closer to the equator than I do so you should get more sun than me. Sometimes though, like now, it feels like I live at the equator! Dad looked at the map and noticed that our home is about as far north of the e-line as his home in Australia was south of the e-line. Weird. I still think Mom and Dad were upside down when they lived there. Are you upside down? Or is it us who are upside down? Somedog has got to fall off. Don't they?
Woof!

Hey Ivy,
Ahhh, skwerrel tree shade! Coooool! I've only got bird tree shade and house shade. Our intruders are those rascally voles and long-eared hippy hoppers. In the afternoon, when it is reeeeeelly hot and it's time for my 'walk', I get to ride in my green machine to Watson Hollow to check pee mail and other stuff.
Woof!

Hey Turbo,
You know my name
Look up the number
You know my name
Look up the number
You you know you know my name
You you know you know my name
Just about my favorite song. Nice and simple.
Woof!

Hey Whippy Curly Tails,
Thanks. You guys look pretty cool in your photos from the toasty South. My walker, HA! If it weren't for me, he'd never leave the house.
Woof!

I think it depends on the point of view. There is a brilliant cartoon by the Argentinian Quino in which his character Mafalda turns the globe upside down.
Hey Raisa,
I think everydog wherever they live walk with their paws on the ground. What happened with my dad is that he was sooo confused wonderin' about the up and down thing when he lived there, that when he came back, he was still tryin' the figure the up and down stuff out/in. Unfortunately, he is STILL confused. Arf! Arf!
Woof!
Freda
