I have told you that my secretary thinks he is an artist. Arf! Arf! I can't help myself. An artist. Maybe your humans remember finger paintin'. Yup, that's what he does. Arf! Arf!
Well, I dabble in the fine arts also. Usually it is while my humans chauffeur me around the Delta. (Drivin' Miss Freda!) That is where I get my inspiration. Beautiful sunsets...
Pretty cool, hey Mom, Dad?
Tall palms, old rural towns, such as Locke, California. One hundred and fifty year old levees ready to collapse. Dead fish in the sloughs. Road kill-opossums, raccoons... Pear orchards gettin' ready to sprout...
Can't wait for the Pear Fair.
And of course, old vine zin...
My dad's good friend.
Dad had some old vine zin from vines one two, one two (114) years old at Jessie's Grove. (Jessie's Grove Winery, Lodi, California) I think he loves old vine. Don't tell Mom.
As an artist, one must always be prepared...
Checkin' to see if my canvas is prepared and ready to go.
You must be ready as soon as the chauffeur rolls up your canvas.
You never know what or where may inspire you.
With 'Nose Art', you do not know exactly what you have produced until you get home...
Ruff! Not bad, not bad at all! Ruff!
Through the years I think I have grown and expanded my horizons in this field.
This is from my 'Blue Period'.
And this is from my... You guessed it. My psychedelic era.
I call it, "No, It'S not".
After a day's paintin' nosin', the ride home gives me a chance to recoup a bit and think of my accomplishments.
What a day... Hey, is that an empty canvas on this side?
Once in the garage there are times I just rest and ruminate...
I'm pooped. What's for dindin?
Thought I would throw this one in for that Clover Day thingy.
Yes, my 'Green Period'.
So when you're bein' chauffeured around, think about what you see, smell and how you feel. Put those emotions on your canvas. You may surprise yourself when you get home.

Freda!
Your artwork is great! You really have lots of talent! Think you could try to sell your work to an art gallery!
I wonder if they would also be interested on the artwork I made on the sofa... I am sure it is my greatest masterpiece, but my humans keep saying that it is just a ruined sofa. Those humans... They do not have any sense of art!
P.S.: My Blog was off - just for a change. But it seems that my staff at Blogger have already fixed it!
Liks,
Raisa
Hey Raisa,
I had a 'Brown Period' once. I would streak the carpet a delicate brown with beige overtones, 'butt' it was not appreciated by the human eye nor apparently nose.
I think 'Sofa' pieces are in big demand due to their size. Humans build such large homes now and need large art pieces to fill them up. Keep up the good work.
Maybe we should start payin' your Blooger staff. Arf!
Woof!

hey hey freda and raisa, thanks for sharin the nose art. my favorite canvas is the front windsheeld on the dog-ridin' side. the peepol are always rubbin my art off, but i put it back just as fast so thats ok.
im not allowd to make brown carpet art eether. i dont no why, cuz it not only looks so pretty but it feels so good too. i gess peepol just dont 'presheate the finer arts. oh well.
Freda,
I am a nose artist too! My mom complains because she says that the windows of her car are always dirty, but she just doesn't appreciate my art! Thedriver's side window and the windshield in front of the driver's seat always have some of my artwork on them. As soon as she wipes if off it just becomes a new canvas for me!
When my mom takes me for a ride, I wait until she gets out of the car... then I jump in her seat and leave nose art on her window for her.
*wags tail happily*
hehe! I love the nose art! And also the first picture is beautiful!
Where did you get the seat cover for in the car? We always have to just use blankets and they always fall down. =/ Please get back to me on that! =D
Hey Everydog,
Thanks for the compliments. Every artist needs those but there is something even better that all starvin' artists need and that is, TREATS! So, if you like my artwork, please send a treat to ..... Just Arfin'!!
It would be great to see more nose art from everydog. Wonder if there is a nose art gallery around?
Hey Jack,
I picked out my car seat cover from the Solutions catalog at http://www.solutionscatalog.com/. There are two sizes and several colors to compliment your coat color. The one I have has little straps that loop over the rear headrests. It remains in place pretty well and as you can tell, it is verrrry comfortable.
Woof!

Rockwell does his nose art on the patio door and on the full length mirror in the front hall.
That's cool Julia,
Tell Rockwell to keep up the good work. The world is our canvas.
Woof!
