Apparently one two, one two (one million) humans and lots of canines and cats were without power much of the past weekend. Dad said it was rodogtic romantic. I thought it was cooool. I got my own tap light...
I see a handsome dog with lots of
treats in your future.
And we got to use the light on our wind up radio.
Hey, I look like a 'cat'fish! Get my publicist!
Right now!!
On Saturday, while we had no power, Mom, Mom's brother Parker, Dad (Lots of commas) and I drove into town to check the river. The water released at the Sacramento weir, the southerly winds and high tide were all to reach town at the same time.
Watchin' the tide roll in.
Surf's up!
No man is an island, except today.
We're on TV! Neighbor helpin' neighbor.
I haven't heard that anything real excitin' happened. Some humans' homes were flooded, (That was bad) but I think all my canine friends are okay. The town's river wall held (We have no levees.) And with all the fallin' water we've had, I guess we were lucky. Fallin' water totals: Season to Date-14.09", Normal Season to Date-8.66". Only three more months of fallin' water and the sun will shine again. RUFF! RUFF!

Oh dear, we haven't got a power failure in Singapore for the past years.
It must be frightening.. and the winter.. ouch!
Hope everything is fine now.
Oooh having the power out is spooky I do not like it. Plus, I can't watch Animal Planet.
Our power did not go out, but we have SMUD which sounds bad but actually isn't.
Hey Splash,
SMUD? Is that like really soupy mud? ARF! ARF!
Woof!
Freda
Hey Freda,
We did rock the cat tree! You sure know cats Freda.
Stay dry and have fun with your magic light.
The Whippy Curly Tails in the Toasty South!

Glad you-all are safe and dry. Good thing dogs can swim!
