My human has only one twos, one twos (twos) legs, doesn't think like us and he has been called weirds. I like that in a familys man. He is stubborns like me. He likes his beer dark. He could be called an Eclectic Peeps. Most of all, he loves me and I like that. DeltaBunny will journal our lives togethers in the small Delta town of Rio Vista, California.

BASS FESTIVAL PARADE/RARE UNICORN

Two weeks ago our little community had an extra 25,000 humans or so millin' around the streets over a three day period. They were here for the Rio Vista Bass Festival. Dad stole borrowed my spy camera and took a bunch of photos so I could see what I was missin'. A real sadist he is. I didn't get to go because of the many horses in the parade and food being sold along the street. Those Euro-dogs have all the fun. Dad said that he saw one dog.

Where are the spots? Aren't fire dogs suppose
to have spots?

Not fair! Not fair! But I guess he comes with the truck.

Some other dogs started to run amuck on the midway, were caught and had to stay in a big netted area. Arf! Arf!

Bad dog, bad dog, what's ya goin' to do?

And of course there was the midway and all the rides.

Where is Mr. Beuller? Anyone? Anyone?

Vendor Lane

Yummy?

Mom and Dad were real lucky. They got to see a real live unicorn but no Irish Rovers.

There were a lot of neat lookin' horses and wagons.

And there were lots of Shiners, Dad said.

They do a lot of nice things for human puppies.

Where are Burt and Ernie?Posted by Picasa

A big duck blind blind duck. Guess it is huntin' season. Awfully hard to miss that one.

Then there were fireworks. Dad took me in my little green machine (golf cart)to a special place where we could watch the pretty lights and the booms weren't too loud for me.

That's it?

Pretty lights. That's more like it.

On the way home from the light show we saw a huge walkin' tanker truck or something like that. It reminded me of when Dad and I listen to his tape of The War of the Worlds.

Take me to your leader.

As we continued on home I was lookin' for one of my fav spots.....

Ahhhh...

Even though the human-made light show was neato I still think Ma Nature does the best.

Mother Nature is the expert.

And of course, there was the fishing part.

Bet the cats would like this festival!

Partial sturgeon. Heard somethin' about caviar.

Stripper Striper

Dad didn't get very good pics of the fish. I wasn't there to tell him about the glare from the sky, the reflections of the humans, etc, etc. He should have taken me along!

Great pics! But Freda, you should go along next time, there are so many things you could've help out on.

Say, did he find any dog treats on a stick to bring back to you?

I think, fried cheeseburger on a stick would hit the spot.

Hey Cal,

Since my humans try not to eat fried food, I don't get any. RRRG!

Your suggestions have made me hungery. Think I will try to coax my typist to take a break and FEED ME!! again tonight. Let's see...sit close...stare....stare...

Woof!

Freda you are such a good dog...those fireworks would spook us too!

Please tell your humans that our mom loved all those nice pictures!

BTW, your ears look so soft, make sure you get many pets...provide the humans with many cute doggie looks...pets will come your way!
