On our afternoon walk today we found several pieces of a garter snake that lost a confrontation with a mower. Several minutes later we found the flattened carcass of a bull frog about two blocks from the Watson Hollow pond. Nice nature walk.
They have applied the first coat of stucco on the corner house. They are really moving along.
A large frog of some kind is beginning to wake us in the morning. We had our first little rain overnight. Not much, but a beginning. A little early for the rainy season to begin. Usually it begins the latter part of October.
